Refund & Cancellation Policy
This page explains how deposits, payments and cancellations work for Exidus Creative Agency services. It's a plain-language summary — the signed Master Service Agreement and Order Form for your specific engagement are what actually govern your contract with us.
Deposits
Every service we provide — including our starting offer — requires a deposit of 40% of the first billing increment before we begin any filming or work. Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel before we've started any filming or delivered any work, we keep the deposit and no further amount is owed either way.
One-time jobs and the starting offer
For a one-time job or our starting offer (not a term contract), once work has begun or been delivered, payment for that work is due as agreed and is not refundable.
Term contracts (3, 6 or 12 months)
If you're on a term contract and cancel before the term ends, you owe 50% of whatever balance remains on the contract — not 50% of the full original contract value, and not 50% of what you've already paid. For example: one month into a 3-month, $1,700/month contract (2 months / $3,400 remaining), canceling means owing 50% of that remainder — $1,700. This reflects our actual cost of holding your slot and planning around your contract, not a penalty.
Rescheduling and no-shows
If you need to reschedule a booked shoot day with less than 48 hours' notice, a $75 rescheduling fee applies.
No guarantee of results
We don't offer refunds based on ad or content performance. We commit to delivering the work described in your signed agreement — we don't guarantee a specific number of leads, sales or other results, and performance isn't grounds for a refund.
How refunds are issued
If a refund is ever owed, it's returned using the same payment method you used to pay us (Zelle, cash or check — we don't currently accept card or ACH payments).
